What is in the air?

My happy Muji! How much you have grwon these few months! And how much I remain the same old! My progress is nothing close to yours and for that I envy you!

Your cuteness grows everyday, as much as your hair, as fast as you eat! How much longer the winter will be phasing out! I can't wait. It's been a tough one with you not feeling well very often. It seems that I have failed in some very basic ways for being a mom, not even a decent one.

Me too! Do you know what it means? You know and you mean it, I'm sure!

It's different today!

The summer is about to take a long trip to the south!
Me? I think something new happened to me today!
Things around seem bigger, but actually I don't know if they are really bigger than usual. They just seem bigger.
Beside this, the most obvious change is the smell! Now the place smell like ..... cold air. It's exciting to take in a breath but then it's also scary because I'm not sure what it feels like.
I took in some anyway cuz I don't really have options.
When I was pondering further, I feel myself lighter and lighter as though my body will float in the air. But I don't want to close my eyes because how can I be sure I will see Mommy again! Mommy I miss you!

You swam!

You trembled at first but then you felt safe the next minute because you're in Daddy's arm!
You're not sure at first but then you stepped into the water the next second because you'd been living in water for a total of 9 months before you left Mommy's belly!
You may not be a swimmer in the future but I'm happy for you that you will enjoy being with water your entire life!
I wish we could be a little bit closer to an ocean where seagulls are your companion!

New Routine

Now that walking up and down the side alley is our new routine.
You like to hold tight Mommmy's hand with one of your little hands, leaving the other one for picking whatever interests you along the path!
You like rock, you like walnut fruit, you like things that grown-ups would not even notice!
Mommy loves to sit with you on the steps, singing to you, knowing that you're as enjoyable as her. Don't you know we share many many special moments that just known to you and Mommy! Mommy knows what remains in your little mind is the smell and the voice of Mommy!

Fixing breakfast with Muji

You insisted me holding you in arm while Mommy is fixing breakfast!
Don't you know you're almost breaking Mommy's arm!
But I know it is worth it because I want to skin close with you all the time, and I love to smell you up close!
Perhaps it's also because I want to share with you the magical moment how an egg is cooked in a fried pan.
I cracked the egg with one hand,
the translucent egg white turns into solid white and the yellow yolk is as powerful as ever.
The I turned the egg over, making an easy over. The yolk is concealed now and Mommy's favorite dish is up for bite. Transformation is what fasinates me. and I wish you share my fascination!

Daddy's Girl

We kiss, we hug and we hold hands,
I sing a song and you dance along.
You said yes and baby, Daddy and Mimi with your sweetest voice!

You have done all these before today, but on this Father's Day,
you did each ten times more, making Daddy the happiest daddy on earth!
